Beltane!

Beltane is one of the largest festivals of celebration for us pagan folk. Samhain being the other largest festival.
Beltane marks the onset of summer and is the time of the year when the Lord and the Lady are handfasted (or married).
The time from Beltane to Midsummer is the most potent time of year for any sort of growth, be it personal or plant life. It is also potent for anything lust or sexuality related, this can be mirrored in the large amount of fertility that occurs between plant life at this time. Dark green, white and reds are common colors to be found during this time. Often times there is a bonfire that people jump over to purify themselves through the smoke, or there is a maypole which is a fertility ritual. Although a traditional maypole is 10ft high, there are smaller ones you can buy or make and place on your altar.
Many people put flowers in their cauldrons and hang them up.

How are YOU spending this Beltane?!
I'm lighting candles. I've burned some Gum arabic for protection. Lit my smudge stick.
I'm going to take a bath with renewal salts. Plant those flowers.
