I got to school at like 7:20am and bought myself a cherry coke and a chocolate cookie.
I spent the entire time until he told us to put our work up for the critique, re-doing it.
It looks better but it needs more unification, values, and another shape or two.
I did more with it after the critique.

Ilea [girl with septum piercing] has a friend who is giving away her baby European rats to whoever wants them. So i'm going to check them out and maybe buy one or two [I need two in total]. Alec and Nicole are coming with me to check them out.
SO i need to clean my room tonight and make space off the floor just in case I get them in like two weeks or something.
I'll have to keep them from my mom though.

Hung out

We went to Petsmart and I bought two books on Rat care and bought Alec a book on Hedgehog care.
We watched birds and discussed what we would need for my rats.

Then we went to RAVE to watch'9', and I work 6-10pm on Saturday.
Damn!

I love these!
I bought a lens for my SLR camera from eBay and am going to clean my room sometime really soon, so i can put up a bunch of old clothes/modified stuff and sell shoes I don't wear.
You should check it out when it is available!
I applied to Petco and started to apply to PetSmart, but stopped once it said No facial jewellery, No more than one ear piercing.
Yeeeah.
I need to get my Docs soon, i'm going to check on eBay for brand new ones at a reduced price.

This weekend

So, we went at noon yesterday to the FAF, and painted the faces of small children.
Ate a gondola they bought for us [PAG] and tried to stay out of the rain.
Afterward we went to my house and went to Schlotzsky's, which was awesome.
We payed his tuition and he stayed the night because we had to be down at the FAF at 8:30am today.
We woke up at a little after 8am, we were late but it didn't matter because it wasn't open yet anyway. To the public at least.
We wandered around and bought these stars this woman made.
She was pretty cool, we talked to her yesterday too and then decided to buy something of hers.
We got two stars to put above our bed when we move in together.
I would've loved to have bought a bunch of owl stuff too, but I didn't.
Most of it was really expensive.
We worked on some kids.

Her mom asked me for my blog information to see about getting me to do birthday parties.
Even if she doesn't ask me too, it's pretty cool to be considered.
I cashed my money from ICC, I got 2,036.21 total.
I bought my Macbook just now with tax it was 902.21, still cheaper.




Oh yeah.
I'm excited!
I'm buying Docs soon too, once I discover my size.

Fine Art Fair Take I

So, I went to school like usual.
Turned in my intensity/value scale and bought a croissant with bacon, egg and cheese.
Yummm!
I got a B on my scale, after I told him to check it and he said it all looked good.
Then I find out, Maria has been getting marked off for the same things as me on projects, only she gets an A or A-, and I get a B regardless.
I then calculated that even if i got A's on the tests and midterm, it's not enough to get me an A because 40% is studio work.
Therefore, if he keeps jipping me out of my A, i'm going to make an appeal.
I will get a god damn A in this class.
Oh, I found out a few days ago that Goessman told Alec he still doesn't view me as an artist even after MAP. But that he thinks i'm a good kid but that Art isn't my calling. That I don't think like an artist.
My reaction: WTF! That's basically telling me I suck so bad I should just stop now. Bullshit. He doesn't know me at all, and has absolutely no basis to truly judge whether I will become an artist. He's a fucking bitch. He favors people who show "natural talent" and just because I am not amazing YET, he feels he can fucking judge me.
It gets under my skin, SOOO fucking bad.

It reminded me of when I went to a psychic sophomore year before I met Alec officially, and she told me i'd have a hard time getting through my career and that i'd do something creative. That people wouldn't believe in me and that I can't let it get to me because I will be successful, I just have to try REALLY hard. I just didn't peg him for being such a judgmental dick initially.
Fuck him.
I'm over it.

Alec's grandma picked me up from school and got Alec and I into a car wreck.
No damage.
But it was a five car pile up and we waited in the car for TWO HOURS while the police figured everything out.
It was ridiculous!
Then we went to walmart, Alec cashed his money for tuition and I bought a semi-large cardigan, a black and gray tank top and a black and gray scarf.
Then the car died in the turn lane of War Memorial [one of the busiest streets of Peoria], and we were stranded there.
We made out way home because Brad came and got us.
So we couldn't go to the FAF.

Today sucks.

Alec and I have been at RAVE the past few days working on FAME promotional stuff.

I have my English paper to write tonight, i'm excited to start our new essay.
I'm buying a new pair of shoes because my creepers are almost completely destroyed.

MacBook

So, yesterday I found out someone at school is selling their used Mac Book for 950$.
I emailed her and she never emailed me back, now i'm looking at refurbished Mac books from Apple, and I could get one for 849$.
SO, i'm going with that one.
I'm buying a Mac book because we need a laptop and most art schools require you have a Mac book while attending their school.
I only had one class yesterday, two teachers cancelled, so I wandered around a LOT.
I'm taking Figure Drawing and Expressive drawing this fall, it is official.
I have a lot of studio work to do this week.
I had an art history test and got all the artists wrong except one, which got me a D.
Even though everything else was right, name of the work and multiple choice.
Eh.
Alec and I have been getting price estimations for things we'll need in our new place.
Since we are almost to the point of officially looking, once we start paying for a car, we are officially looking to move out.
Were getting paid to paint at work today for the FAME promotional stuff.
It's okay because we don't have to be in uniform.
I need to turn in some more applications to different places.
I should call Borders today.
I think we should get two rats when we move in to our new place.

So, i'm going to print out some information on rat care, a cupcake, a roach, a chameleon and a cookie.
I got an idea for a piece this morning.

I need to finish my English paper either today [hopefully] or tomorrow.
I've got a 109% in there right now.
It's pretty bitchin'.
Alec and I are getting food once he gets out of class, then we are going to go work at Rave.
After that we are being picked up by the people who bought his jacket and had him do another for comission.

I realized I don't really have down time anymore.
