Top 25 Faith Blogs by Moms

So, there is a contest being held over at Circle of Moms to vote for your favorite mothering blogs.
Now, these are blogs of faith which means of course, ALL faith.
There are Christians, Muslims, Jews, and of course Pagans.
Recently there was some strife over the fact that many of the blogs in the Top 25 are from Pagan mothers, there were some misguided people who think we're all devil worshipping heathens that slaughter babies. Some of them went as far as to say, that any other religion is wrong. Wow. Way to be a misguided-asshole over the internet, Bravo!

Anyway, since the trouble ensued the mother who attacked two of the pagan mothers has henceforth been removed (yay for eliminating trolling and the spreading of misconceptions!).
Now, there are a lot of really good blogs on here from mothers of all faith. I won't lie and say i'm not biased to the pagan ones, being pagan and all, but I voted for a couple of Christians and people of other faiths as well. Faith does not determine the quality of motherhood, the individual does. People from all walks of life sometimes place too much blame on faith or things outside of his or her control instead of truly owning up to the responsibility of an individual. YOU are responsible for YOUR actions, not God, not the man hiding in your closet, not your Great Aunt Martha, Y-O-U. Therefore personal faith does not determine the quality of the individual.

If you're interested here are some of the pagan blogs directly (you could go through the website posted above and maybe click a few 'vote' buttons on your way through).
*She's one of my favorite blogs to read, I have a regular link to her blog on the bottom right of my blog.

Now you might be wondering, "why is this so important? It's just a website contest", you are absolutely right. It IS just a website contest. But, it is a website contest that has a newletter with 6 MILLION viewers. How great is that to be able to promote so many pagan mothers in POSITIVE light to so many people. If it was just one they'd be more likely to shrug it off, "Oh, she's just an exception. Most of those pagans are cold hearted sinners", but with so many of them taking up a good percentile of the overall blogs.

Why, maybe those pagans aren't so bad after all eh?
Something to think about...

*Namaste*
