It rained a LOT.
We got there sometime close to 11am, and I called Skellen repeatedly on the phone.
My phone wasn't working so I had to use the phones of a few people nearby.
Alec, me, and Quinton walked around the modern wing of the Art Institute, then we went to the gift shops.
I got a minty green shirt with the ghastlycrumblies on it and tombstones on the back.
We left around 1pm and took Quinton to Columbia for his tour of the campus.
We almost got sucked into the tour and the lady giving the speech about Columbia kept looking at me directly while she spoke, and whispered "Good luck" when she walked past me.
It was incredibly random.
We met up with Skellen and went with her to her dorm, then to a pizza place down the street.
We had deep dish sausage pizza.
Yes, chicago style.
We went back to her place to put the leftovers in her fridge and then left for Rag stock.
She took us on the metro, which was pretty cool.
Especially since I was saying earlier that day that I was wanting to go on one.
We ended up somewhere across town on Lakeview, I think.
We went into a store that had awesome posters, I really loved some framed works that were from books like Brave New World, Frankenstein and Alice in Wonderland.
We went to an army surplus store and I realized i've been in a super rut lately.
Really depressed and my style/ overall appearance has suffered, so i'm not allowing myself to do that again.
It just makes me feel worse.
We ended up at Rag stock, I REALLY wanted to go to The Pink Frog after seeing this leather studded vest in the window.
I bought a black denim jacket at the Rag Stock.
We went back to her dorm to get our things and left.
We almost got lost a few times, in the pouring rain, I had to call Skellen like five times for directions.
I also asked a woman passing by.
We got to the bus soaking wet.
I need new shoes, I have a hole in my converse, it was filled with water.
We got back in town around 11pm.
UGH.
Frustrating day!
