Blood Clotting

So, Alec and I saw Inglorious Bastards yesterday with Randi and Ben.
We went to the guild yesterday to help with mailing stuff.
I'm going to take Screenprinting and Figure drawing this coming fall through the guild.
I work today at 6pm, so does Alec.
I found eleven dollars on the ground while I was cleaning a theater on Friday.
It's going to be my lunch money next week, since I didn't get paid much.
I got a Goodwill application today.
I've been reading a lot about Degas, I really like some of his work.
I bought this shirt yesterday, it's the lyrics from 'Friday i'm in love' by The Cure.

Lately, my Grandfather has been in the emergency room due to blood clotting in his leg and in his lungs.
I've been feeling really "off" lately, fairly depressed, just letting you guys know if I post in a really scattered fashion, that's why.
Art club starts this coming Wednesday.

ICC day One

Woke up at 6am.
Got done getting ready around 6:15am, which sucked because Roxie didn't come by until almost 7am.
She picked me up and we went to go get Courtney.
We got to ICC with more than enough time before class.
We sat down at an outside table talking about tattoos and music.
I listenned to punk music this morning and realized that it's good music to "wake up" too.
I went to my first hour and ran into Maria from MAP.
Which was really cool.
We sat next each other and talked for a while.
The guys all sat on one side and the girls on the other.
Me and Maria talked to this girl with a septum retainer in, she seems like she could be really cool.
We talked about Quinton Terrantino and Evil Dead.
Then this girl with pinkish purple hair came in, and me and Maria waved at her when she looked at us.
She looked away rolling her eyes and then sat right next to me.
So, i'm not sure if I should talk to her or if she's going to be an upitty bitch.
We got let out an hour before expected time, and me and Maria walked around campus together talking until my English class started.
My English class is all internet and computer based, she doesn't want ANYTHING on paper.
Which isn't too bad.
We have 6 essays this semmester.
Then I went downstairs and got cheese fries, a brownie and a large cherry coke.
I bought chili Fritos and Vitamin water earlier in the day.
I walked out and tried to see if my English book was here along with the sketch book that I have to buy for color and design.
Englihs book= No, Sketch book= Yes
I have almost no money, I get paid Friday and he wants our supplies BY Friday.
Which bites.
Then I met up with Alec who got on campus around 11:45am.
We went to Zoology.
Which is pretty interesting.
I accidently talked over a girl when we introduced ourselves though.
Whoops!
We took some basic notes and he was really excited that he had Alec and I, art majors, in his course.
He said we were the largest number of artists he's had in his class at once.
Which is sad.
We have to read chapters 1 & 4, before Wednesday.
We found Dirksen Hall, which is where Alec has first hour tomorrow.
I went to Alec's house afterwards and we ate Little Ceaser's sausage pizza.
Then I came home and had a nap, and am going to go read those chapters.

Beer & Brawts

Alec and I got there at 12pm.
We were interviewed again for Youtube by Doug Leunig.
He asked us how MAP helped us in the art world and how to integrain art into society.
I suggested a street team to increase the amount of people who come to the art guild.
Alec and I set up our Steins table and then helped line trash cans and such for the openning of Beer and Brats.

We all got free steins for volunteering and we sold a lot of steins.

We got free Bratwurst and root beer for volunteering too.
Alec sold and piece and might have comission work soon.
After we cleaned up, we all went to Jacob's after party.
Everyone drank except me, Alec and Georgia.
I ate cake.
Some people got out of hand, watching each other pee on far away objects.

It got really ridiculous.
Alec and I left with Erin and William just after 11pm.
They waited with us at the Guild for our ride.
We might be getting them into a movie for free tomorrow.
We also talked to Erin about coming in to help fold papers and stuff.
Alec bought me taco bell on the way home.
I'm happy.

Singapore for ever !

Thank you so much for your messages.
It was difficult to post. I was lost on an Island very far from Paris (12 000km).
But next time I will bring my Laptop with me.



During my trip, I had the chance to stay a few days in Singapore around the 44th National day.
Singapore is a great city with a Huge Shopping Mall at each crossroads.
Singaporian people are cool & dressed rather casual as it's so hot there.
I've loved to walk around Orchard Road and to go to ION Shopping Mall.
I bought plenty of T-Shirts (limited edition) with drawings of Keith Haring
and J-Michel Basquiat at UNIQLO's.



J'ai eu la chance de passer quelques jours à Singapour.
C'est vraiment une ville étonnante avec des centres commerciaux immenses à chaque carrefour.
Les Singapouriens s'habillent plutôt casual, il fait tellement chaud !
Ils adorent les T-Shirts de toutes sortes...



J'ai bien aimé me ballader du côté d'Orchard Road, qui est un peu les Champs-Elysées
de Singapour et faire du shopping au ION Center, le dernier centre branché.
J'ai acheté plein de T-Shirts (série limitée) avec des dessins de Keith Haring
et Jean-Michel Basquiat au magasin UNIQLO qui venait juste d'ouvrir.
Un magasin va ouvrir à l'Opéra à Paris ... à suivre.
